Job Summary
Goosehead Insurance Agency is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager with a finance, project management, and software lifecycle management background to provide support for financial systems and deliver technology-assisted finance process improvement projects. The individual must have experience developing or supporting system integrations, developing and understanding database queries, and direct ERP implementation experience. The individual must be able to quickly gain proficiency with new systems and processes and be able to efficiently communicate complex financial processes and requirements to all levels of an organization.
The manager designs, develops, and implements analytical tools and data solutions to support a data-driven decision-making and process improvement culture. This role comprehensively understands finance data needs, gathers requirements, analyzes data, and develops robust analytics solutions for special projects, self-service analytics, and executive user consumption.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manages NetSuite, Coupa, and Alteryx Server platforms
Designs, develops, and supports Alteryx and other automation workflow solutions
Designs, develops, and supports data visualizations, enterprise reports, and intuitive/actionable dashboards
Understands and advises on finance data sources and business rules for KPI and report generation calculations
Provides data insights and contributes to development of data enhancement requirements
Maintains strong relationships across finance, IT, and other Goosehead functions in support of strategic objectives
Supports Goosehead’s digital finance transformation by promoting a data-driven, decision-making culture
Partners with finance and accounting teams to deliver ad hoc automation and reporting projects
Remains current with the latest BI advancements to continuously enhance reporting capabilities
Experience and Education
5 years combined experience in accounting, finance, data analytics, or information systems role
2+ years hands on experience developing and supporting business analytics reports, dashboards, and tools
2+ years of system administration experience
Prior NetSuite, Coupa, and Alteryx Designer or Server Experience
Previous work experience as a non-technical, functional financial analyst or accountant
Required Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or other scripting language
Project team member experience on an ERP Implementation project
Lean Six Sigma Certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by experience communicating with an executive level audience
