Responsibilities
About the Role:
The Strategic Partner - Talent Acquisition is responsible for planning and managing the execution of global sourcing initiatives to drive 2000+ hires across GM Financial. You will work directly with the Recruiting leadership team based in the United States, LATAM, and Europe to understand the organization's immediate and future talent needs. You will collaborate, inspire, and motivate a team of recruiters to deliver against key hiring goals by finding niche talent to support our top talent needs.
JOB DUTIES
- Subject matter expert on developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies to proactively identify and engage passive and active candidates through a variety of channels, including online databases, social media, industry events and referrals
- A creative growth mindset that utilizes advanced search techniques and tools to identify potential candidates and maintain an up-to-date and organized candidate database
- Collaborate closely with Talent Advisors and hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and position requirements to develop effective sourcing strategies
- Screen candidates for interest, branding of company and role, and assessing basic qualifications
- Track and analyze sourcing metrics to measure the effectiveness of various sourcing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
- Strive for competition to deliver high goals and thrive in a changing environment

- Deliver market data/intelligence for recruitment that reflects the availability of talent in key markets and/or linked to specific targeted candidate profiles
- Develop and utilize innovative sourcing techniques to develop diverse pools of talent to meet weekly/monthly hiring goals
- Accountable and ownership for assessment and selection of sourcing technologies
- Have mentored, coached, or led a high-performing sourcing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates, stakeholders, and team members
- Expert in utilizing various sourcing tools, techniques, and platforms, such as LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS systems, Boolean search, etc
- Demonstrated expertise in the recruiting process, talent sourcing, compliance, technology, and metrics and how they drive performance
- Strong project and change management capabilities and experience managing high-volume hiring initiatives
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a track record of delivering results through defined KPI, SLA, and hiring metrics
- Driven, self-starter with the ability to work with agility and adaptability and strive for continuous improvement
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Greater than 10 years experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources required
- 3-5 years leading through mentorship in related field required
- 3-5 years leading projects and initiatives required

OUR BUSINESS & OUR HISTORY
GM Financial was founded as AmeriCredit in September 1992 and opened its first branch office in Fort Worth, Texas. On October 1, 2010, AmeriCredit Corp. was acquired by General Motors Company and renamed General Motors Financial Company, Inc. (GM Financial). In 2011, GM Financial acquired FinanciaLinx to serve GM dealers and customers throughout Canada. In November 2012, GM Financial announced the acquisition of Ally Financial Inc.’s international operations. The majority of those acquisitions were finalized in 2013, with the remaining market, a 35 percent equity interest in a joint venture in China, acquired in January 2015. In October 2017, GM Financial completed the sale of its European financial subsidiaries and branches as part of General Motors’ sale of the Opel and Vauxhall businesses to Peugeot S.A.
GM Financial provides auto finance solutions to 14,000 dealers worldwide, with earning assets of $93 billion at September 30, 2018.
