Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Directs daily activities for operational functions, grants, contracts, funding and proposal submissions. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Holds responsibility for day-to-day activities including fiscal and administrative management, contracts, funds, multicomponent grants and subcontracts. Assures adherence to grant, IRB and Washington University accounting guidelines for associated grants as needed. Advises directors and others on matters of scientific and fiscal concerns. Composes annual solicitation of pilot proposals and project reviews. Provides projections and recommendations for future resource allocations and scientific directors, faculty and staff. Supervises support staff and advises senior faculty in personnel management or internal policy. May manage administration of shared space, equipment and furnishings of offices. May prepare and maintain minutes from meetings, formal voting procedures and committee activity related to proposals, ensuring follow up on decisions made. Provides planning and coordination of meetings and schedules various events and training. Establishes and enhances various contacts and contact with other centers to facilitate collaboration and exchange of information. Participates in project review meetings and report preparation and analysis. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
