Our work depends on a PART TIME (20-30 hours) Linux/AWS System Administrator joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime on and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
** You will have the opportunity to "modernize your skillsets" in a "dynamic team environment" by working with "cutting edge technologies" to include AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, etc. **
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and upgrading the Kubernetes clusters on the systems.
- Patching, upgrading, scanning, reporting, and remediation of vulnerabilities for the systems.
- Providing support to create/maintain ATO for the systems.
- Continuous monitoring of all systems.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- 10 years of experience as a System Administration for Linux (Red Hat and CentOS) and Windows/VMWare.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skillsets:
- Experience with System Administration in the cloud (deploying and operating services and applications in an Amazon AWS/C2S infrastructure environment).
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with Microservices architectures.
- Experience with Network Information Service (NIS), Network File System (NFS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

The likely salary range for this position is $139,984 - $106,375. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
