Overview
This position will support technical administration of EBs Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program (BCDR). The individual must have strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to generate high quality technical documentation. This position will coordinate with EBs BCDR Representatives to aid in the completion and documentation of annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews as well as editing, storage, and collation of the resulting files.
In this role the selected candidate will also collaborate with BCDR Emergency Planning Representatives in the development and maintenance of associated procedures, technical resources, databases, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and BCP testing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Relevant technical writing or administrative experience
- Good attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Expertise in advanced Microsoft Office Suite capabilities, such as template generation, HTML linking, and creating fillable-forms
- Demonstrated ability to work with and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with external customers
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree
- Previous experience in Business Continuity, Emergency Planning, or Emergency Management
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (or) Associate Business Continuity Professional
- Previous experience in developing emergency policies, procedures and/or response plans
- Previous experience in Everbridge and/or related emergency management related platforms
- Previous experience in developing (BIA) Business Impact Analysis
