EHP Technology Integration & Partnerships Portfolio Manager (NASA CMC) - Military Veterans

Leidos has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC) in support of Exrtravehicular (EHP) programs. In this position, the employee will be located onsite at the Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas. Some domestic travel will be required.

US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency, and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance are required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify project candidates and investments to mature and infuse relevant technologies. Address Program risks and capability gaps; assess feasibility of proposed projects in alignment with EHP priorities and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with EHP offices to align with their needs and enable risk reduction and gap closure.
  • Provide technical, cost, and schedule oversight of authorized project activities. Coordinate with performing orgs and Technical Integration and Partnerships (TI&P) business manager.
  • Communicate project scope, objectives, and progress to team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated Project Portfolio schedule with key milestones.
  • Identify and track project risks; support EHP risk coordination process to collaborate with EHP offices.
  • Develop and provide Project Portfolio status briefings to EHP offices, EHP Technology Panel (monthly), and external stakeholders as required.
  • Strategy and Planning. The contractor shall perform systems engineering and technical integration across the EHP and other NASA stakeholders.
  • Support development, coordination, and maintenance of EHP Technology Roadmaps to enable the M2M architecture. Partner with MCO, STMD to support EHP implementation and risk reduction.
  • Lead the development of the EHP Lunar Surface Systems roadmap.
  • Support annual EHP roadmap update cycle, including redaction and public dissemination.
  • Support TI&P integration during the life cycle of each technology project to prepare for infusion and resolve issues across internal, external, and international organizations.
  • Establish and coordinate with all stakeholders infusion plans for technologies being matured in the Project Portfolio.
  • Maintain cognizance of relevant national & international technology activities in government, industry, and academia.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree and at least 4+ years prior relevant experience, including:

  • Project management experience, leading or working on technical projects
  • Experience collaborating with multi-discipline teams and customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Detail-oriented, risk mitigation focused, highly organized individual
  • Ability to communicate technical information across various audiences
  • Experience with presenting technical and financial project status to large groups, such as technical NASA board

Preferred Qualifications

  • NASA Exploration experience, systems engineering, risk management, and engineering background.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
