Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester to join an enterprise IT program. The client's office is looking for an individual who will support the testing of a geospatial application in the client’s cloud computing environment. We are looking for someone who is a team player and is willing to jump in and assist others with their work, to include being able to provide assistance and coverage when one of their team members is out. While not required skills, the ideal candidate will have experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies, an understanding of UI, and experience writing code.

In this role you will develop test plans and testing strategies for a team using Lean Agile development practices, and you will be responsible for testing all aspects of the application.
This will include:
- Setting up use case testing, regression testing, designing and running test scenarios.
- Ensuring all requirements and user stories are built as designed, assisting with writing test plans as well as detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating any test defects, and creating tests for ad hoc situations such as replicating user reported problems under specific conditions.
- Assisting with moving the team towards Test Driven Development principles and effectively ensure the team at large has a full understanding of testing principles.
- Consolidating, recording, and reporting analysis results and working across the client’s Application development teams in requirements and testing support.
Required Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience working with a project team to define requirements and acceptance criteria, developing test cases.
- Demonstrated experience with manual testing of web-based applications.
- Demonstrated experience testing APIs and integration of enterprise services such as access control, user authentication and integration of external data sources.
- Demonstrated experience with detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating any test defects effectively.
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies and test driven development, ideally as a Scrum Master.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in test automation.
- Demonstrated experience with accessibility testing.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
