Sr Finance Analyst - Military Veterans

Eaton’s EPG LAC Latin AmericaCaribbean Division division is currently seeking a Sr Finance Analyst.
What you’ll do:
Support the finance operations of the Caribbean and Puerto Rico entity, including commercial, services and manufacturing. Support month-end close activities, cost accounting processes, non PO payables, capital appropriation requests, cost out initiatives and reporting.
•Month-end close activities such as Encore uploads (Backlog, ECOSAL, etc.).
•Prepare monthly reports: Inventory, Flex, CONC, MPV, etc. Explain variances.
•Prepare standard margin analysis and review with local team.
•Prepare analysis of the profitability of projects and quotes for large sales.
•Analyze E&O, Shrinkage and Warranty accruals.
•Run annual cost roll-up and inventory revaluation for buy and make items.
•Creation and costing of new products, including ETO.
•Perform revenue recognition process
•Prepare balance sheet reconciliatlons for accounts under scope and resolve related actions.
•Inventoy physical stock count (cyce and annual) Support, review and reconciliation of adjustments.
•Fixed assets physical inventory. Perform and reconcile adjustments.
•Ensure compliance with Eaton's policies and procedures, SOX and GAAP for processes under scope.
•Ensure compliance with local legal requirements for activities under scope.
•Support the site in the financials of cost out initiatives.
•Codification and processing of accounts payable invoices in Dolphin (Non PO)
•Support the site with the financials of capital appropriation requests, upload data in the system and follow-up approval.
•Calculation and review of sales rebates.
•External Audit: Provide requirements for activities under scope.
•Internal Audit: Support internal audit process and follow-up actions agreed, for activities under scope.

Qualifications:
- BD in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years in Finance and/or Accounting in multinational companies.
Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced English (B2).
- Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operations reports.
- Broad general business knowledge.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and IFRS. General knowledge of all functional areas of the Group, Sector and Corporate organizations.
- Understanding of SAP FICO and Cost Controlling.
- Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of Manufacturing Operations and Processes.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and various priorities.
