Position Title: Athletic Set-up/Housekeeper Department/School: Executive Affairs Salary/Pay Rate: $21.82 - $25.67 per hour Job Summary: The Department of Athletics at Marist College seeks applications for an Athletic Set-up/Housekeeper. Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations, the Housekeeper provides housekeeping and set up support to the Department of Athletics for various practices, games, and events. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in the use of a variety of large-scale cleaning equipment, machinery and supplies required. Essential Functions: Operate heavy motor-driven cleaning equipment Set up bleachers, tables, chairs and athletic equipment Set up floor coverings Clean bathrooms, toilets, locker rooms and team rooms Clean offices, vacuums and shampoos carpets, removes rubbish Strip, wet mop, wax and dust mop floors Wash walls, windows and clean furniture Receive, move and store equipment and supplies Remove snow from entrances of buildings Responsible for the safekeeping and preservation of equipment and supplies Responsible for locking and securing rooms and buildings Responsible for reporting damaged or lost equipment or supplies Capable of heavy lifting Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of all phases of game set-ups (basketball, football, volleyball, etc.) and some knowledge of equipment room set-ups and basketball hoops (2 tons) preferred.
