Clinical Lab Scientist | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

Performs test procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology and limited Microbiology. Transcribes and reports test results (manually and automated). Operates laboratory instrumentation & equipment to accurately generate test results. Initiates troubleshooting of errant laboratory instrumentation & equipment as needed. Follows established quality control procedures and participate in all associated tasks in the section. Must be able to work in a high-volume co. To perform all STAT and routine test procedures in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry and Limited Microbiology Departments. The duties are divided across the three sections department upon staffing levels, prior experience, and workload.
