Location: Matthews, NC (In-Office Position)
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 (Base Only, No Commission)

We are expanding our sales team and seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Representative with a strong background in machine or technical sales to join our team in Matthews, NC.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will act as the bridge between our customers’ operational challenges and our technical solutions. From initial discovery to deal close, you will play a critical role in driving the sales process by understanding customer needs, delivering impactful demonstrations, and leading technical discussions that showcase the value of our lifting technology.

Key Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with the sales team to guide customers through the sales cycle, from discovery to close.
-Conduct pre-sales discovery meetings to understand customer requirements and challenges.
-Provide product demonstrations and deliver comprehensive Proof of Value engagements.
-Act as a technical expert during sales engagements, ensuring alignment with strategic account goals.
-Partner with engineering teams to deliver consistent customer experiences throughout the sales process.
-Communicate complex technical concepts effectively through verbal, written, and presentation skills.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
-Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
-Deliver training sessions for customers and channel partners, both in-person and virtually.
-Travel as needed to engage with customers directly.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
-3-5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or material handling industries.
-Proven ability to configure technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in delivering professional presentations and training.
-Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals and executing effective sales strategies.
-Experience in gathering market intelligence and conducting competitive analysis.
-Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain technical solutions.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
