Associate Program Director, ACE Teaching Fellows University of Notre Dame The University of Notre Dame ( ND.jobs ) is accepting applications for a Associate Program Director, ACE Teaching Fellows . The Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows Associate Program Director for Pastoral Administration provides administrative, recruiting and communications support to advance the mission of ACE. This position reports to the Pastoral Team Manager. Essential Duties: 1. Help Lead Teacher Recruitment, Review, and Yield a. Direct recruiting at 2-4 target universities, including Notre Dame i. Cultivate relationships with undergraduate students/alumni who have the demonstrated potential to serve as Catholic school teachers through ACE ii. Recruit potential applicants at professional conferences and other relevant forums iii. Build a 15 network of partners at target universities - as well as relevant postgraduate employers - who can help identify, nominate, and encourage prospective ATF applicants to apply b. Help oversee the ATF selection, placement, and yield process i. Review applications and interview eligible candidates ii. Support the teacher selection and placement process iii. Help lead activities oriented to yield selected candidates 2. Program Administration a. ACE Summer Session support i. Support all efforts related to the ACE summer session, in particular event management and supporting the delivery of M.Ed. coursework b. General Program Support i. Support the administrative dimensions of ACE Teaching Fellows as needs arise 3. The Associate Program Director undertakes other duties as assigned by the Director of the Institute for Educational Initiatives, the Executive Director of ACE, the Pastoral Team Manager, and the Senior Director of Teacher Formation and Education Policy. 4. Lead Pastoral Formation and Administration Efforts for Assigned ACE Teachers and Communities a. Lead Pastoral Formation Efforts for ACE Teachers ATF communities (~35-40 teachers) i. Work in consultation with the Teaching Fellows team and M.Ed. faculty members to support professional, communal, and spiritual growth for individual ACE teachers and their assigned communities b. Steward Relationships with (Arch)diocesan/School Leaders and Other Stakeholders i. Work with school and (arch)diocesan leaders to identify potential school sites at which ACE teacher(s) might be assigned ii. Work with school and (arch)diocesan leaders - as well as other relevant local stakeholders - to support the development of assigned ACE teachers 5. Help Lead Programing Related to Pastoral Formation a. Work with the Teaching Fellows team to lead retreats for ACE teachers and alumni b. Help design and lead programming related to ACE teacher formation Minimum Qualifications: Education: Masters degree or Bachelors degree (5 years) or advanced certification beyond Bachelors Experience: 1 to 2 years Degree (Knowledge): Masters degree Skills: Teaching experience is not required but valuable Preferred Qualifications: ABOUT NOTRE DAME: The University of Notre Dame, founded in 1842 by Rev.
