Senior Program Director University of Notre Dame The University of Notre Dame ( ND.jobs ) is accepting applications for a Senior Program Director . Applications will be accepted until 01/12/2025. The Undergraduate Enrollment Division works to open doors to a Notre Dame education, empowering students to pursue, discover, and share knowledge, truth, and faith as a powerful means for good. The division is committed to ensuring that the Notre Dame undergraduate student body represents the diversity of gifts of the full human family, creates socioeconomic mobility for students from all pathways, and increases the global Catholic community on its campus. The Senior Program Director will develop and lead programs critical to the Enrollment team's success. Specifically, the position will lead the Strategic Partners Program and Scholarship Engagement Program to advance the institution's commitment to access and affordability. Specific position responsibilities include: Develop and lead a Strategic Partners Program that prioritizes partners investing in college preparation and readiness at a scalable level and consistent with Notre Dame's mission. This role will invest in purposeful relationships with high schools, community-based organizations, and college-access organizations that work with prospective college students and families. Examples of such partnerships may include but are not limited to the Cristo Rey Network, ACE schools, Catholic diocesan schools, Congregation of Holy Cross schools, etc. Moreover, the Senior Program Director will invest in relationships with college-access programs that similarly invest in college readiness of students, including but not limited to Matriculate, Nicholas Academic Center, etc. When leading the Strategic Partners Program, invest in trusting and purposeful relationships with partners via outreach and personal visits, college readiness partnership programming (e.g., high school course selection workshops), comprehensive student engagement models including precollege, financial aid, and yield resources, counselor fly-in 25 programs, etc. Moreover, coordinate regular engagement of current Notre Dame students matriculating from the strategic partners. This event-based engagement will invest in fellowship, community, professional development, mentorship, and an ambassador program. The Senior Program Director will develop best-in-class models to maximize these partnerships and serve as an industry leader in access to highly selective postsecondary education. The Senior Program Director will be expected to travel extensively to visit high schools, community based organizations, college readiness organizations, etc. Serve as the Enrollment team's lead on merit scholarship programs. Collaborate with the Office of Financial Aid, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and Department of Development to ensure that controls are in place to award scholarships consistent with gift documentation. Moreover, develop and lead an engagement program for the most significant merit and need-based scholarship programs. In collaboration with the Development stewardship team, offer creative engagement experiences for families investing in both merit and need-based financial aid along with student recipients of the respective scholarships. These experiences may include but are not limited to communications of gratitude from students, events to convene families and scholarship recipients, professional development opportunities for students, etc. This position will drive strategic engagement with internal and external constituents and have no responsibility for or involvement in specific undergraduate admissions decisions. Minimum Qualifications: The Senior Program Director will lead, influence and collaborate with colleagues across campus, leaders across the Enrollment industry, high school administrators, and global leaders dedicated to college readiness, ensuring that Notre Dame is a leader in higher education affordability and access. The Senior Program Director is expected to have excellent University perspective, relationship and engagement skills, writing skills, a hunger for creativity and ideation, financial acumen, and project management skills. The Senior Program Director is expected to be a strong people leader, dedicated to excellence, investment in others, and the Universitys distinct Catholic mission. Possess a bachelors degree with 7+ years of experience in a similar role. Problem solving abilities: Problems require conceptual and abstract analysis and are more strategic than operational; solutions may require unconventional and multiple approaches. Must be able to establishe organizational policy for function and interprets, executes, and recommends changes to university wide policy.
