Comprehensive regulatory and research reporting is achieved through interaction with an advanced clinical data documentation and patient tracking system. The unrelated hematopoietic stem cell program is one of the fifth largest in the nation, and is regarded as one of the leaders in this field of clinical care.


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible and accountable for coordinating, planning and maintaining all quality management aspects of the transplant program. Also responsible for improving key processes, policies and procedures as they relate to regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies. The position will complete audits of clinical and program workflow processes as well as documentation of processes to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Expected to develop and maintain professional affiliations to keep abreast of the regulatory requirements for transplants in both the outpatient and inpatient hospital settings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs analysis of quality and performance improvement including responsibilities for coordination and collection of data, analysis and trending of required regulatory indicators (internal and external), process measures and clinical outcomes measures.
  • Educates staff and physicians on regulatory /accrediting requirements to promote readiness and ongoing compliance.
  • Coordinates all quality management activities for the Transplant Program. Ensures program's compliance with all applicable regulatory agency quality requirements.
  • Completes audits of clinical program activities and workflow to ensure compliance with regulations and written standard operating procedures. Identify gaps using audit results and implement changes as needed.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to identify and resolve patient care management concerns (including related stem cell donors). Audits patient/donor care processes throughout transplant experience to ensure patient safety concerns and/or issues are identified and changes implemented as needed.
