About the Opportunity

Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.

Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.

The Hinkley Point C Equipment Programme is responsible for delivering the bulk of the mechanical, electrical and process equipment that will form the working power station. The contracts may be for discrete components or complete systems and will be delivered in partnership with NNB's global supply chain. Contracts range from £250k to £150m. Input design is completed by the EDF Responsible Designer, with the detail design completed by the equipment supplier.

We are currently recruiting for an Information Analyst and you'll be part of a cross-disciplinary team within Digital & IT, working closely with project managers, information architects, data scientists, data engineers and business insight specialists.

As an Information Analyst, you'll join one of our most exciting and ambitious projects. At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building the first nuclear power station to be constructed in the UK for over two decades, which at the operating stage will employ several hundred people and make a major contribution to the UK's move to reduce carbon emissions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering : Demonstrate expertise in translating Business needs into comprehensive Requirements Catalogue and extracting valuable information to drive consensus on key project aspects. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness in the documentation.
• Workload Management : Take ownership of managing your own workload efficiently and effectively. Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining a high level of quality in deliverables.
• Technical Skills : Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, to create process flows, diagrams, and other visual representations to enhance understanding and communication of complex concepts.

• Business Analysis : Leverage experience in business analysis to contribute valuable insights and drive strategic decision-making on complex, large-scale digital projects.
• Excellent engagement skills, including interviewing, facilitating workshops, mediating and presenting
• Demonstrated ability to interface with business stakeholders from a variety of disciplines and levels, and communicate clearly to ensure that HPC understands the available Information Management Services and the best way of accessing them
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Information Management: Experience in one or more of the Information Management disciplines of Information Architecture, Information Analysis, Master Data Management, Data Administration or Database System development would be a bonus.
• Degree level or equivalent in a related subject or business relevant subject preferred.
