Leading company within the food industry is in search of a Maintenance Technician within the greater Phoenix AZ area. We are in search of candidates who have a Mechanical, Electrical and Controls background. A large portion of this position will be focused on troubleshooting PLC's.
This position requires a highschool degree along with 4-7 years of demonstrated experience within a manufacturing environment. This opportunity is 2nd shift (1pm-11:30pm) ranging from $35-$40hr + OT. responsibilities:
- Understanding of electrical schematics and documentation
- 480V 3 phase troubleshooting and wiring
- Low voltage controls
- VFDs and servos
- Welding to include: MIG, TIG, and Arc
- pumps, valves, gearboxes
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems operation
- Mill and lathe
- Allen Bradley PLC knowledge to include SLC 500, PLC 5 and Logix 5000 (troubleshooting and program understanding)
- Familiar with conveyors, palletizing equipment, case packers preferred
- Utilities boilers, air compressors, and ammonia refrigeration
- Waste water systems
