job summary:
Civil Designer needed in Phoenix AZ at a leading Engineering and Construction Firm. The Civil Designer will assist in various phases of planning, site evaluations, analytical designs, 3D modeling, and preparation of construction documentation and environmental plans as part of a project team. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of relevant experience.

responsibilities:
- Support the creation of engineering drawing packages, including drawing sheet production, 3D grading, topographic analysis, earthwork volume analysis, and processing received survey information.
- Assist in designing various civil projects including site design and grading, land development, roads, sediment and erosion control, storm drainage systems, storm water management facilities, water and sanitary sewer utility design.
- Assist with analyzing reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other topographical and geotechnical data to plan and design projects.
- Complete and review design drawings within scope, budget, and schedule with minimal errors or comments.
- Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.
- Understand and complete tasks with limited guidance from senior team members.
