Expected salary range of $198,900 to $221,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative leader who excels at team building, relationship management, and driving efficiency. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and outcomes-focused, dedicated to enabling our IT and business partners to achieve their goals, as an integral part of the IT Business Management Office (BMO).

Compliance & Controls: The director will ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), by assisting IT teams respond to audit related asks, and drive independent assessments to maintain an IT focused POV on risk areas. They will lead IT Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate technology-related risks and vulnerabilities, partnering with Cyber Security, Audit Services and Enterprise Risk Management to align on risk tolerance and strategy. A key part of the role is fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness within the team.

Program & Portfolio Management: The director will standardize and enhance the efficiency of IT programs and projects using tools, templates, and processes, and monitor portfolio performance and reporting to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment. Building and leading a high-performing team, the director will ensure collaborative and efficient project execution while sharing the mission of the Business Management Office (BMO) as an enabler for IT and business partners.

Organizational Change Management: The director will drive IT organizational transformation and change initiatives, aligning IT identity, values, and behaviors into a unified culture. They will implement the ADKAR model to ensure effective program and project execution, promoting change consistency through services like change execution, enablement, and broad engagement. The director will facilitate successful change adoption among business colleagues, partners, and customers, cultivating strong relationships, driving efficiency, and promoting a data-driven, outcomes-focused approach.

Additionally, the director will work closely with other directors responsible for strategy, planning, and architecture, maintaining sufficient knowledge to support and collaborate effectively. They will leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain relationships with business, and IT customers, ensure business processes and requirements are identified and well understood across organization, facilitate committees and/or forums to drive adoption of BMO IT methodologies and tools.
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors, including but not limited to auditors, risk management functions and business partners, to deliver projects of high complexity and significant size and change management challenges.
  • Manage the maintenance, implementation, support, and enhancement of any applications and systems put in place to support responsibility areas.
  • Partner with customers to justify and prioritize investments and manage the delivery and execution of engagements while ensuring top quartile levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive process improvement and lead adoption of standard Management Model processes and procedures, which deliver sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels.
  • Evaluate performance and provide coaching for IT personnel. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization. Provide input on development and retention processes for IT employees.
  • Manage a budget.
  • Bring thought leadership and expertise not just in areas of direct responsibility but other Business Management Office areas including but not limited to IT strategy and execution, IT finance, architecture, and vendor management to be an active member of the leadership team.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering).
  • Typically, 12 or more years of experience leading and managing multiple solutions teams at the manager level or higher.
  • Proven experience in leading IT governance and oversight functions, including ITIL-based processes, project and program management, organizational change management, large transformational programs, and audit and compliance processes. Demonstrated strategic planning and customer engagement skills and experience leading organizations and people through change.
  • Excellent consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to think conceptually required to effectively execute against IT strategies and plans.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate degree in Information Systems or related discipline or MBA.
