Sr Program Manager - Military Veterans

As the Development Sr. Program Manager Restricted Programs here at Honeywell, you will report to the Program Director and help co-lead, manage, and oversee various aspects of a group of development programs ($200M+ in total contract value) delivering new capability to our Prime Customer. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for the program. You will report directly to the Program Director of these development contracts and lead integration of the programs across locations in Torrance, CA, Phoenix & Tempe, AZ, and Clearwater, FL. Location of work can be either of these sites with a hybrid work schedule. Approximately less than 25% travel is required for this role.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the program is executed efficiently, meeting all objectives and deliverables. You will collaborate with various internal Honeywell stakeholders and external customer to drive program success and ensure customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Lead responsible and accountable for all activities of these development programs
Develop and implement program management strategies and best practices
Ensure compliance with program management standards and guidelines
Manage program performance metrics and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program success
Provide leadership and guidance to the program management team
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Conduct program reviews and identify areas for improvement
Lead and drive strategic initiatives to enhance program management efficiency and effectiveness

YOU MUST HAVE
6+ years of experience in direct program management or related roles
Prior experience in a leadership role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Candidates will need to be able to qualify for and clear a Secret Security Clearance will be considered.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
U.S. DoD Secret Clearance desired.
Program management certification (e.g., PgMP)
Experience in leading and managing large-scale and complex programs
Knowledge of program management methodologies
Ability to adapt to changing program requirements
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to motivate and inspire team members
