Lead Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Establish and drive sourcing of indirect professional services including finance, audit, advisory, consulting services, and financial programs, for your categories globally as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have responsibility for driving competitive category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost for your category, reduce working capital via negotiation planning and execution, improve productivity, drive consumption reduction and Sole / Single Source elimination. You will manage supplier performance to support your category and ensure supply quality. You will be managing several projects and strategic contracts in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and execute plan with supporting strategies for key professional indirect services needs including any finance, audit, advisory services, financial programs, consulting services and various other professional service needs to support internal stakeholders
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership optimization through a mix of levers such as competition, price, service design, consumption, ratios of Subcontractors to Contract Service Workers.
- Manage supplier selection, RFI and RFQ process, eAuction, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance processes.
- Manage Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SoWs) from inception through negotiation, completion and maintenance.
- Manage Professional Services category strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost analysis, market analysis and global technology / economic trends tracking.
- Ensure rigorous management of key suppliers through processes such as scorecarding, Business Reviews, Service Level analysis and corrective actions.
- Align with key internal stakeholders to build sourcing strategy to support short-term and long-term professional services needs
- Improve Working Capital thru Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, and other initiatives.
- Assist in operational procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing/category management experience, to include at a minimum, 3 years in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts.
- Strong category management experience
- In-depth experience in best-in-class procurement practices (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.).
- Strong contract negotiation experience (Terms and Conditions such as Limitation of Liability, Warranty, Indemnification, IP, security, pay terms, etc.)
- Experience in RFPs/RFQs and Statements of Work
- Demonstrated impact in achieving category savings and working capital goals

- Demonstrated negotiation experience with consulting firms and for other professional services included in scope
- Extensive knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the function and purpose of key legal terms.
- Knowledge of financial programs including corporate cards and supply chain financing arrangements
- Demonstrate actionable results by delivering against targets for financial performance business impact
- Strong experience assessing risk and concisely explaining complex issues to principal business owners.
- Extremely customer-focused and takes the time to understand the needs of the business.
- Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize, distill and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to direct a cross-functional team
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Passionate self-starter with the highest integrity and ethics.
- Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
- Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, eSourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
