Electrical Radio Frequency Engineer Intern (Master's) - Military Veterans

Applied Materials’ AGS OCE Department is searching for an intern to join our team in Summer 2025. AGS OCE is responsible for customer support and development of solutions for field issues. The position will entail the following:
- Assist with laboratory projects in development of lab test fixtures for EE/RF projects, e.g. of testing DC/RF power supplies and impedance matching networks. Work with project owners in troubleshooting and functionality test.
- Develop e.g. LabVIEW programs for automation control of lab measurement instruments.
- Support experimental data acquisition and processing, and some simple to moderate data modeling.
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Master's degree program in science or engineering area.
- Student is in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Training in power electric and electronics areas is preferred; familiar with circuit simulation, e.g. LTSPICE; Knowledge in Plasma is a plus.
- Good program skill in LabVIEW; and practical experience in serial communication and data acquisition programming. Familiar with serial communication, e.g., RS232/485, command protocol and structure.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in data processing and modeling may help our applications
