This is a temporary position.

The Manager, Business Resources and Support provides support to the Owner & Franchise Services Business Analytics team. This team player will contribute to business process management, with a concentrated focus on data integrity within the enterprise OASIS application.Primary responsibility will assist with data integrity; streamlining current business processes while assisting to design, develop, test, and implement strategic business applications in support of these processes that the Business Resources and Analytic team oversees. This position requires a good knowledge of the OASIS functionality.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Assist with the Associate Discount card program
  • Establish new Accounts in OASIS to support EID process; ensure all accounts have EID Approver to support EID registration process
  • Manages the SNOW ticket tracking process for issues raised to Marriott IR for resolving
  • Co-own the Enterprise EID process for Owner and Franchisee in USA-Canada for both property and above property
  • Managed the Owner & Franchise Services mailbox
  • Manages trouble-shooting business application challenges faced by Owners and Franchisee and coordinate with Marriott IT to get resolved and work with MI stakeholders
  • Perform OFS data integrity audits
  • Assist with the bi-annual EID audit
  • Articulates and documents business processes into detailed logical steps.
  • Provides analytical support for ad hoc requests from senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain close and productive working relationships with Subject Matter Experts, Franchise Leadership to resolve hotel operational concerns. Respond to and resolves operational requests from key stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as appropriate

Experience and Skills

  • Attention to detail; excellent organizational skills, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment
  • Comfortable with learning and using databases (including but not limited to Law Manager, OASIS and Excel).
  • Capacity to research and analyze data to make recommendations to senior management in matters.
  • Displays a practical approach to problem solving and develops sounds contingency plans
  • Sharp business acumen and thorough understanding of Marriotts business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while focusing on details
  • Proven excellent analytical, problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective listener, encourages ideas while resolving conflict in a positive manner
  • Excels at communicating with individuals and small groups

Education or Certification

  • Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education preferred; and work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.

The pay range for this position is $30.86 to $47.31 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
