Job Description
Systems Integrator/Developer:
Provide system analysis, design,development, integration and implementation for enterprise level Universitysystems with a focus on web-based infrastructure systems. Develop and maintain application integrationwith core University services, especially those related to the University'sIdentity Access Management (IAM). These applications include bothcommercial-based packages and applications developed in-house. Work with ITS staff to integrate and connecttheir systems to the middleware infrastructure. Develop custom web services andweb applications using industry standards and technologies. In addition toapplication development, this position administers purchased applicationsrelated to the University's Identity Access Management suite of services. Collaborate with others to ensure thelong-term health and efficiency of these systems.

Title and salary commensurate with relevant experiencebased on the following titles and hiring ranges:
Senior SystemsIntegrator/Developer: Hiring range 112k-130k
Minimum of five plus years of experience.
Systems Integrator/Developer: Hiring range 92k - 112k
Three to four years of experience.
Associate SystemsIntegrator/Developer: Hiring range 75k-92k
One to two years of experience.
Requirements
Requires/Role-specificcompetencies include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technology-related field.
Demonstrate excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Work independently and have the ability to multitask, managing time and priorities wisely with the understanding of the department priorities.
Be security conscious and aware of security implications and adhere to security and integration best practices.
Demonstrated competence with J2EE skills and experience managing various application servers/web servers.
Experience in working in high availability and high performance environments is preferred.
Experience integrating, configuring, monitoring, and supporting related purchased applications into an existing architecture and middleware services.
Experience in automation, CI/CD, and DevOps knowledge is preferred.
Experience developing web services technologies using REST Architecture and knowledge of XML, JSON is preferred.
Experience working with relational database technologies and working experience with SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle Preferred)
Knowledge ofvarious UNIX operating system architectures.
Experience using scripting languages such as Shell, Perl and JavaScript.
Experience working with messaging or related technologies (IBM MQ preferred).
Experience with programming and scripting languages, especially Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, and Angular.
Experience with SQLite, Express, Node.JS, Django, Influxdb, Grafana and Flask is preferred.
