Job Summary:

The Institute for Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Database Administrator. This position will work on the Commonwealth of KY Dept. for Behavioral Health, Developmental & Intellectual Disabilities ( DBHDID ) Information Systems contract and is currently remote.

This position will develop, implement, test, upgrade, and otherwise modify existing software and provide maintenance of databases by carrying out vendor procedures. Significant knowledge of vendor products is essential to ensuring software/database products are up-to-date and to assist end users with any technical support. The Database Administrator will conduct data analysis and research while also preparing reports for users, management, and other key stakeholders. This position will consult with clients to provide technical solutions to issues. Prefer candidate with knowledge and/or experience with data reporting and submission to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ( CMS ) specific to Behavioral Healthcare.

Preferred Education/Experience:

5 years of information technology experience, including at least 3 years of database management preferred.
