Electromechanic - Military Veterans

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Electromechanic.The Electromechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment. This position involves working with motors, sensors, PLCs, mechanical drives, and other systems that require both electrical and mechanical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electromechanical equipment to ensure proper operation. Address electrical and mechanical malfunctions in a timely manner.

· Installation & Setup: Install and set up new electromechanical systems, including motors, generators, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and automated machinery.
· Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
· System Integration: Integrate electrical and mechanical components, ensuring proper alignment and operation between various subsystems.
· Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to ensure longevity and minimize downtime.
· Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all electromechanical systems operate in compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations. Create detailed reports for each task performed.

Education & Experience:

· Associate degree or technical certification in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience (2+ years) in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.

· Familiarity with PLCs, electrical circuits, motor controls, sensors, and mechanical drives.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical principles.

· Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

· Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
