Parts Specialist - Military Veterans

Summary:

This position is responsible for the daily functions related to selling tiered portfolio of parts to customers and providing necessary parts to the service department. orders, ships, receives, stores and accounts for parts and/or merchandise This individual will perform all duties in accordance with Revels policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (including, but not limited to):
  • Provide excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter or on the phone
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions
  • Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations and promotions
  • Effective use of computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode system and Dealer Business System
  • Review work orders, pick tickets and sales to predict stock/inventory needs
  • Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e., customer and stock orders and returns)
  • Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders and transfers
  • Perform cycle counting duties to ensure all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
  • Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
  • Making certain the technician or customers receives the proper part on time as promised
  • Call customers and technicians for parts pick-up as needed
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES (including, but not limited to):
  • Make small equipment & whole good deliveries
  • Organize the "ready-to-go" line & yard
  • Stage deliveries and work with Inventory Controller to get paperwork, operator/part manuals, keys, and any other extras
  • Work with Used Inventory Manager to stage used equipment deliveries & create paperwork
  • Help coordinate deliveries and pick-ups of school service contracts
  • Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with the shop supervisor for equipment needing service/repair in-shop
  • Assist with scheduling truck routes
  • Ensure ready-to-go equipment is clean and damage-free
  • Verify all equipment is labeled with DIT stickers
  • In the absence of the Inventory Controller, help with loading and unloading trucks.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent Required
  • One year of familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures desired
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Team player, willingness to and be adaptable in challenging situations
  • 1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
  • Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to complete various activities in a warehouse setting that may require lifting, standing, carrying, bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting
  • Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time
