Program Manager, Global Compliance - Military Veterans

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Program Manager to support the Global Compliance function. In this unique role, you will be responsible for managing compliance-related projects while simultaneously analyzing business processes and requirements to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Acting as an integral part of the Global Compliance team you will drive continuous improvement using technology and process improvement with the aim of maximizing efficiencies achieving improved capacity and cost reduction. Initial focus will be on our Third Party Risk Management Program review project which is underway.
The individual will be dynamic, business and solutions oriented and have experience in project and program management, and business analysis and reporting, enabling them to drive initiatives that strengthen our compliance posture and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- The role will report to the Program and Transformation Manager, Global Compliance and will cover:
- Lead compliance initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals with an initial focus on our Third Party Risk Management Program review project.
- Develop and maintain project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources necessary to achieve compliance outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and consensus on compliance projects.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely resolution to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and potential impacts.
- Collaborate with business/compliance teams to identify and document business requirements related to regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Analyze existing processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements to enhance compliance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory changes and emerging requirements.
- Create detailed documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, compliance policies, and training materials.
- Serve as a liaison between compliance, operational, and technical teams to ensure understanding of compliance requirements and deliverables.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their compliance needs and challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and drive consensus on compliance strategies.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of compliance initiatives and projects.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and effectiveness assessments to identify lessons learned and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and compliance trends to proactively adjust compliance initiatives as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management and/or business analysis.
- Proven experience managing complex projects using methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- An understanding of Third Party risk management practices and experience in system administration of Coupa Risk Assess or similar third party risk management tool is desirable
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, Qliksense).
- Certifications in Project Management desirable (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
