Job Summary:

UK Healthcare is seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills to work in an ambulatory lab setting, either in a Physician's office lab and/or collection site.

The Medical Lab Technician duties will include registration and scheduling of patients utilizing all appropriate systems and checking insurance coverage and eligibility. This position will also manage the release of electronic orders and handle some specimen collection and processing. This position may perform waived and moderately complex testing.

Proficiency in phlebotomy of all age groups is preferred. The candidate must be a team player, patient centered and be a critical thinker. As an optional document, please upload an academic transcript, detailing credit hours earned toward a relevant certificate or degree.
