Fuel Maintenance Manager - Military Veterans

BASIC PURPOSE: Love's is looking for an experienced fuel maintenance specialist with great communication skills and troubleshooting ability.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in an office environment to help diagnose tank monitor alarms.
• Evaluate dispenser error codes.
• Work with the team in place to answer questions on the phone and through emails.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and escalating service repair calls from the Love’s Corporate Office.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Train Love’s personnel.
• Aware of and operates within OSH Act (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Available to work on an on-call basis.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and administrators.
• Carry out assignments and instructions from supervisor(s) in a competent and efficient manner.
• Work in a safe manner with personal safety and the safety of others as the number one priority.
• Manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Account for supplies, materials, and equipment as required.
• Complete records and reports as required in a timely manner.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in petroleum service repair, installation and support preferred
  • Certification in Gilbarco preferred, but other lines that will be supported are Wayne, Veeder Root, FE Petro and Red Jacket.

      SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:
  • Hard skills: Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
  • Soft Skills: Able to multi-task, able to work independently as well as with a team, good oral and verbal communication skills, and excellent management skills.
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Possess a valid US driver’s license.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to travel up to 2 weeks per month.
