Fuel Maintenance Manager - Military Veterans

BASIC PURPOSE: Love's is looking for an experienced fuel maintenance specialist with great communication skills and troubleshooting ability.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in an office environment to help diagnose tank monitor alarms.
- Evaluate dispenser error codes.
- Work with the team in place to answer questions on the phone and through emails.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and escalating service repair calls from the Love’s Corporate Office.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Train Love’s personnel.
- Aware of and operates within OSH Act (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Available to work on an on-call basis.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and administrators.
- Carry out assignments and instructions from supervisor(s) in a competent and efficient manner.
- Work in a safe manner with personal safety and the safety of others as the number one priority.
- Manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Account for supplies, materials, and equipment as required.
- Complete records and reports as required in a timely manner.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in petroleum service repair, installation and support preferred
- Certification in Gilbarco preferred, but other lines that will be supported are Wayne, Veeder Root, FE Petro and Red Jacket.
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Skills:
- Hard skills: Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
- Soft Skills: Able to multi-task, able to work independently as well as with a team, good oral and verbal communication skills, and excellent management skills.
- Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
- Possess a valid US driver’s license.
- Availability to work on an on-call basis.
- Ability to travel up to 2 weeks per month.
