Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Neonatology & Newborn Services in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. , D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or in Internal Medicine for tenure and research tracks.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as well as formal lecture opportunities within the Division and Department.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outstanding clinical care and productivity in program development. Clinical care will be provided in the 100 bed Level IV Neonatal/Infant Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the 38 bed Level III NICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as in the Neonatal Follow-Up Program. Duties also include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
