In-depth knowledge of Puerto Rico and U.S. tax laws.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in tax and accounting software (Thomson Reuters preferred).
Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Base Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 annually + bonus program

Job Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of both Puerto Rico and U.S. income tax laws. This role includes managing client relationships, preparing tax returns, advising on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:
Build and maintain client relationships.
Advise on tax planning and strategies.
Represent clients before Puerto Rico Department of the Treasury and the IRS.
Conduct quarterly client reviews, including tax projections and liabilities.

Tax Compliance & Preparation:
Review and prepare complex individual and business tax returns.
Ensure consistency in tax and accounting deliverables.
Research and solve tax issues.
Perform cost-benefit analysis for clients.

Collaboration & Project Management:
Work with the firm director and other managers to clarify tax laws.
Help ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
Review budgets and project scopes.

Client Tax Management:
Provide ongoing tax projections and reviews.
Organize meetings to discuss tax liabilities.

Financial Oversight:
Review financial records, including ledgers and reconciliations.
Handle a variety of tasks, from basic accounting to complex entity structuring.
