Summary:

The duties and responsibilities consist of oversight of all front desk operations, registration, and point of service payment collection. This person insures that we are providing optimum internal and external customer satisfaction. They also have responsibility for maintaining the financial integrity of the Rehab accounts scheduled for their facility. This position requires knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Commercial Payers, HSAs, Cobra, Medicaid, STAR plans, CSHCN, CHIP and hospital financial assistance programs. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining knowledge of JCAHO, HIPPA, Patient Rights and Responsibilities, and departmental/System policies and procedures. They act as the resource by providing administrative and operational support for department therapists and the clinic manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 Years in a patient registration position

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Typing and Computer experience, required

  • Knowledge of Managed Care and Medicaid programs, required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, required

  • Bilingual preferred

  • BLS - CPR preferred
