The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) seeks to foster a collaborative, innovative, and student-first culture shaped by Georgetown's Jesuit heritage and values. The Program Director provides management and administratively supports the ground and online modalities for specific academic programs within a specified cluster. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Play a vital role by managing the day-to-day activities of the program(s) in providing administrative support for current and graduating students, which includes but is not limited to Academic advising, registration processes, academic actions, admissions support, events support, new student orientation, student out-processing procedures, and acting as the liaison between the program and various SCS and University departments on behalf of the student body.
- Understand and track all enrollment stages, from current students through alumni.
- Provide critical data for course scheduling and support the development of each semester's schedule based on those findings.
- Work closely with partners at Coursera on facilitation of BLS on their platform.
Work Interactions
Executive Director, Student and Academic Operations - work with the Executive Director, Students and Academic Operations on departmental initiatives. Sr. Assistant, Assistant and Associate Deans and Faculty Directors - work with assistant and associate deans and faculty directors to support the design, development, and implementation of strategies related to course scheduling, travel and logistics, and contracting processes. SCS Academic Operations - work with the department on strategies for operational initiatives. SCS Enrollment Management - work with SCS Enrollment Management and collaborate on specific enrollment issues involving courses or programs. Students - manage the administrative duties related to student advising External partners - Coordinate with Coursera partners on BLS Coursera program.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
- exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Experience in developing, executing, or participating in online education would be valuable
- Professional and/or academic experience in the real estate industry is desirable
- A willingness to take initiative with flexibility and solid interpersonal skills
- Two or more years of work experience in a professional or academic setting preferred

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
