The Manager, Vaccines Commercial Sales Operations will support the operational needs of our marketers, focusing on the execution and management of congresses and speaker programs. The role requires strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills to ensure seamless operations and strategic collaboration across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Speaker Programs Leadership:
- Full ownership of Peer-to-Peer end to end process
- Lead the execution of speaker programs, ensuring exceptional organizational and project management
- Collaborate with brand teams to design, execute, and streamline operations
- Manage exception approvals and issues in collaboration with compliance teams
- Lead two-way streamlined communications between marketing and the field team
- Respond to feedback and work with vendors to improve program execution
- Strategic Collaboration and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with compliance to ensure consistent decision-making
- Partner with colleagues to monitor compliance, expedite new speaker onboarding, and assess business rules
- Monitor and oversight of compliance and standards (e.g. speaker cap, speaker utilization)
- Congress Operations Leadership:
- Spearhead cross portfolio and business unit collaboration for conventions, ensuring seamless integration and execution
- Execute conventions with exceptional performance, delivering best in class content to be recognized within the National Scientific Community attending congresses (e.g. securing recognition and awards)
- Lead congress planning sessions that include commercial and medical stakeholders
- Provide on-site oversite and management of tier one national congresses
- Field and Vendor Management:
- Strengthen partnerships with field teams and vendors, optimizing booth staffing and pre-convention training
- Manage purchase orders and hold vendors accountable for performance
- Training and Development:
- Provide support for comprehensive speaker training programs
- Mentor team members and engage stakeholders across all levels
- Risk Mitigation and Issue Management:
- Translate complex issues into digestible information for better decision-making
- Lead issue management, ensuring timely resolution of field or vendor requests
Why You?
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in commercial operations and project management (i.e., stakeholder management, timeline accountability and prioritization with internal and external teams)
- Experience in managing speaker programs and congress operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Proficiency in using various operational tools and systems
