As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will lead a team of controls engineers in bringing advanced machinery to life. This role involves responsibility for project schedules, budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The ideal candidate is highly organized, driven, and focused on achieving results while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.





Responsibilities:



  • Develop the architecture of controls systems, including large, multi-machine systems.

  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and robots for cam-operated and indexing machines, often featuring a large count of servo axes.

  • Provide guidance to electricians on wiring and code compliance.

  • Debug and perform function verification on the production floor, culminating in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

  • Travel domestically and internationally to assist in machine re-commissioning at customer sites, culminating in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

  • Collaborate with team members to improve standards and processes.

  • Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers to achieve project goals.






Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 6 years of automation experience.

  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and servo control systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.

  • Experience with debugging, FAT, and SAT processes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
