A Project Scheduling Manager is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Syracuse, NY area. A Project Schedule Manager leads the project control schedule team within the PMO, overseeing all project phases to ensure timely completion within budget and contractual obligations.

responsibilities:
- Lead the local Project Control Schedule team as part of the PMO.
- Provide direction and leadership for each phase of the project scope.
- Ensure tasks are completed within or below budget, with excellent quality, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Engage in contract negotiations and manage various project delivery methods (EPCm, EPC, E/P/Cm).
- Ensure adherence to client standards, develop project controls plans, and manage invoice processes.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure comprehensive monthly reports covering cost, schedule, EVM, change management, and risk management.
Skills:
- Profound understanding of project controls operating models in the Advanced Manufacturing sector.
- Expertise in Primavera P6, ability to manage OPC content from third-party partners.
- Ability to manage program schedule content and establish guidelines for schedule control, including developing the Basis of Schedule (BOS).
- Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), including quantity-based and financially based EVM.
- Experience leading planning/scheduling efforts and collaborating with partners during early project lifecycle stages.
- Support internal client reporting requirements and ensure alignment with industry standards and guidelines related to project controls.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Typically 12+ years of related work experience.
- 15+ years highly preferred.
