** This is a Contract position from Date of hire through 06/30/2025. ** The Assistant Director is responsible for facilitating the programming services of the Office of Restorative Justice Practices. The Assistant Director functions as an experienced professional with a full understanding of how to carry out diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in compliance with government legislation and management directives. Works on diversity, equity, and inclusion/accessibility assignments that are diverse and complex in scope. In this role, the Assistant Director is responsible for developing and facilitating Restorative Justice Practices programmatic offerings, such as Restorative Circles and Community Circles, trainings, workshops, presentations, and outreach services. Additionally, the Assistant Director assists in facilitating the training for UCSF RJ facilitators. The Assistant Director partners with other UC campuses to learn and share best practices. The role's scope encompasses the university and UCSF Health. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $75,700 - $110,000 (Annual Rate).
