Job Summary and Qualifications






Reporting to the Division Vice President of Support Services, the Division Director of EVS Operations works in collaboration with Environmental Services Directors at assigned facilities. This role provides leadership and oversight for EVS service lines within the division, focusing on identifying cost-saving opportunities, driving quality improvements, communicating strategies to facility leadership, and monitoring outcomes.  


What you will do in this role: 


  • Support EVS teams with strategic planning and operational goals for service lines.  
  • Assist the Division VP in setting and tracking cost-saving targets.  
  • Analyze spending, contract compliance, and rebates; standardize products and services. 
  • Provide monthly KPIs, quarterly scorecards, and conduct bi-annual peer review audits 
  • Facilitate division policies, training programs, and tools for EVS operations.  
  • Host regular calls and meetings to share best practices and updates.  
  • Build strong relationships with facility leadership 
  • Lead care experience initiatives across in-patient and emergency room settings. 
  • Manage financial strategies for linen, textiles, and supply costs. Human Resources  
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and employee engagement while reducing turnover and vacancy rates 
  • Define productivity standards and improve throughput, focusing on "Dirty Bed" Turn-Around-Times (TAT).  
  • Ensure compliance with cleaning standards, HAZMAT, OSHA, and Life Safety regulations. T 
  • Support EVS staff training and provide educational opportunities.  
  • Foster partnerships with key stakeholders and lead emergency response efforts. Support for Initiatives  
  • Drive core measures, patient safety, and service excellence goals across the division 















What qualifications you will need: 



  • A Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • A Master’s degree is preferred 
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in managing environmental and/or hospitality services Required 
  • Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) Preferred 
  • Must be willing to travel more than 50%
