Job Description:

If so, Logistics and Support Services at Iowa State University is seeking a Logistics Specialist II to join the ISU Surplus operation! ISU Surplus handles the management of the universitys end-of-life assets through resale, repurposing, or recycling/disposal. In addition to operating a physical store, ISU Surplus sells items on online platforms, including Govdeals.com.
Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing the intake of Excess Property Disposal requests from campus units and leading the team that performs the pickup of those assets from campus. This position will also be involved with ensuring inventory is tracked accurately and is organized in warehouse locations.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of dispatching and scheduling, good computer skills, good written and verbal communication, and organizational abilities. Good customer service skills are also essential to this role. Knowledge and familiarity of Iowa States campus layout and buildings is recommended.
