Salary: $91,000 - $106,000 (Depending on Experience)

About Us:
Join a dedicated team working to advance water treatment, distribution, and wastewater management systems. We are looking for a Utilities Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise in designing, integrating, and maintaining Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA systems to ensure the efficiency and security of our utility operations.

Job Summary:
As a Utilities Electrical Engineer, you will design, install, and commission control systems related to water treatment and wastewater management. You will ensure the security and integrity of ICS environments, provide technical support for capital projects, and collaborate across departments to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, program, and commission SCADA-based automated control systems.
-Support process control improvements and identify, test, and implement system enhancements.
-Provide technical support for design, construction, and startup phases of capital infrastructure projects.
-Troubleshoot and maintain plant control systems, instrumentation, and motor control equipment.
-Commission new equipment and assist in training operations and maintenance staff.
-Participate in capital improvement project meetings and review technical documentation.
-Prepare CAD electrical drawings and technical documentation according to standards.
-Assist in procurement of goods and services related to control systems.
-Perform administrative duties related to purchasing equipment and managing projects.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
-At least 3 years of related work experience, preferably with position-related software.
-Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
-Valid driver’s license.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

-Proficiency in Modicon PLCs, AutomationDirect PLCs, Wonderware software, and Ignition software.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to work in industrial environments involving chemicals, solvents, and dust.
-Mechanical and technical aptitude with attention to detail and safety.

Physical Demands:

-Medium work requiring exertion of up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
-Physical activities include climbing, crawling, crouching, lifting, standing, and visual inspections.

Work Environment:

-Industrial setting with exposure to chemicals, solvents, and dust.
-On-call responsibilities for emergencies outside standard work hours.
