JOB DESCRIPTION
- Operate various machines and equipment in the PDC testing and repair center.
- Show careful attention to detail when setting up machines for consistent, reliable operation.
- Read and interpret drawings, workflow documents, and manufacturing instructions.
- Set-up, test, and validate the proper function of equipment.
- Troubleshoot products and tools, performing repairs if necessary.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate with coworkers and engineers to swiftly resolve product and procedure-related problems.
- Resolve most issues independently, referring only complex ones to higher levels.
- Analyze and evaluate test conditions effectively.
- Perform assignments with minimal supervision.
- Inspect and measure parts diligently.
- Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment.
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Conduct equipment runs and tests, report results, prototype parts, and develop methods.
- Support cutter and testing development projects.
- Execute cutter modifications requested by manufacturing or repair centers.
- Contribute to root cause analyses for field requests and repair center cutter inquiries.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in operating CNC machines and programming is preferred.
- PDC cutters experience preferred.
- Proven experience following procedures and documentation.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to actively participate in improvement initiatives and provide feedback.
