As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer within Honeywell Intelligrated's automated material handling solutions, your primary responsibility is to orchestrate seamless project engineering integration of our existing product portfolio into tailored solutions that meet diverse customer requirements for distribution centers globally. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the hardware system integration of various material handling equipment optimally serves the specific needs of our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- System Integration Leadership: Lead the integration of Honeywell Intelligrated's hardware product portfolio, including conveyors, sorters, mergers, palletizers, robotics, and associated systems, to create customized solutions for clients' automated material handling needs.
- Customer-Centric Solutions: Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to comprehend customer requirements and translate them into integrated system designs that ensure customer throughput performance and efficiency.
- Technical Expertise in Integration: Utilize deep mechanical engineering knowledge to resolve design challenges integrating different subsystems to create cohesive and efficient material handling solutions.
- Product Enhancement: Identify areas for product enhancement to improve integration compatibility and overall efficiency in system performance based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to document integration processes, best practices, and standardization protocols for efficient and replicable system integrations.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- System Integration Expertise: Minimum of 10 years' experience in system integration within the automated material handling solutions domain, demonstrating a strong understanding of Honeywell Intelligrated's product portfolio.
- Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, system integration, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive familiarity with automated material handling systems, a proven track record in integrating diverse systems, and a thorough understanding of customer-centric solutions within the distribution center space.
- Project Management and Collaboration: Excellent project management skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and strong communication skills to understand and address customer needs.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with Honeywell Intelligrated's product line and its integration within distribution center environments.
- Experience in documenting integration protocols and best practices for streamlined and efficient system integration.
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements related to automated material handling solutions.
