Are you an experienced Emergency Department RN looking for your next travel assignment? We’re seeking skilled professionals to join our team in a fast-paced, 64-bed Emergency Department in Utica, NY. With both day and night shifts available, this opportunity offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the chance to make a difference in a high-acuity care environment.

Position Details

• Shift: Day or Night
• Floating: Required.
• Overtime: Paid after 48 hours.
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
• Unit Overview:

o Beds: 64 total (40 acute, 2 trauma, 6 psych, 10 CDU, 2 triage, 6 super track).
o Patient Demographics: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics.
o Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure.
o Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infuser, Arctic Sun.
o Required Drips/Medications: Pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, etc.), Vasodilators, Anti-arrhythmics, Sedation, Heparin, Insulin, TNK.
o Charge Nurse Capability: Highly preferred.

Requirements for Submission
1. Experience:
o Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience, including pediatric patients.
o Travel RN experience (documented in resume).
2. References:
o Two recent ED Charge/Manager RN references required.
3. Credentials:
o Active NY RN license verified through NURSYS.
o Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
o TNCC certification is mandatory.
4. Skills Checklist: Specialty-specific and up to date.
5. Other Documents:
o Driver’s license with address matching demographics.
o EMR experience required (EPIC).
o RTO (requested time off) must be included at submission.

• Travel Requirement: Candidates must live 75+ miles from the facility.
