Summary:

The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction for Huntington’s’ acquiring and issuing sponsorship program. This position partners with Risk team (1st and 2nd line), Digital & IT Delivery teams and operational teams to manage the sponsor program 

The role is focused on:

  • Designing & implementing sponsorship program
  • Managing & scaling sponsorship program
  • Managing P&L for the program

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction for Huntington’s’ acquiring and issuing sponsorship program

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drives Voice-of-customer to define product roadmap 
  • Sets the strategy and defines roadmap for sponsorship program
  • Convert strategy into capability requirements & features
  • Works with Digital, IT teams and Product Leaders to build and execute 
  • Manages product group P&L  including support business case for new investments
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in creating, running sponsorship programs 
  • 5+ years of Payments experience with Fintechs or Banks
  • 3+ years management/leadership experience
  • Experience in both acquiring and issuing sponsorship 
  • Knowledge of technical requirements to run a sponsorship program – including  Risk tech, finance & settlement tech and Data management
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly; Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovation
  • Experience in project planning & management, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solving
  • Proven written and oral communication skills including senior leadership presentation
  • Experience using Agile methods for custom hardware or embedded software development
  • Certification as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Frameworks
