Dispatcher - Military Veterans

General Overview:

• To be a focal point for customers in resolving issues, providing solutions, and ensuring exceptional client value regarding rental requests
• To ensure the integrity of the tool fleet within the district and the availability of product;
• To be a conduit of information between the operations department, service, and the sales department;
• To establish relationship within the strategic customers;
• To maintain clear communication to the customers regarding order status, work in progress, and delivery;

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate and work with the Sales Teams to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the customer's plans and activities;
• Communicate orders in person, over phones, and through NOV applications (TRM);
• Maintain data integrity within internal systems (Track-a-Tool, TRM);
• Fully responsible for the life cycle of incoming and outgoing sales orders and rental requests;
• Inspect and verify outgoing and incoming goods against packing slips or other documents.
• Unloading and loading of material/tools from the delivery trucks, with use of overhead crane and forklift;
• Perform all tool movement functions in internal system (Track-a-tool) & run daily reports;
• Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries;
• Participate in action plans for new projects defined by management.

The Dispatcher works closely with the District Sales, Operations, and Field Engineering to:

• To communicate opportunities in driving profitability and growth;

At Downhole, the Dispatcher will report to the Facillity Manager

• Participate in meetings with the District Sales Teams and District Operations Teams to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities;

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work in a factory environment which may include but are not limited to: high noise level, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors.
• Working conditions may be inside and outside with extreme temperature.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs is required.
• Working hours to be identified by manager, includes on call evening and weekends.

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• A Dispatcher requires relevant industry experience, moderate product and technical knowledge on Downhole products and service offerings.
