Dermatology Nurse Manager (M-F) | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

Involves the provision of integrated and accessible primary and specialty patient care services in a clinic or center environment. Care is provided by clinicians and assistants whoa re accountable for addressing a large majority of personal health care needs and developing a sustainable partnership with patients. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and/or provision of patient care delivery in healthcare clinics or centers. Promotes shared decision-making at all levels to ensure a shared voice in practices, exchanges of ideas, enhanced communication, and continually improved patient services. Management levels may also be responsible for clinic operations. (Note, when primary focus is clinical operations, see Ambulatory Administration job function.) The incumbent will manage the delivery of ambulatory patient care, including nursing and clinical support staff for the following locations: 185 Berry (China Basin Waterfront), 515 Spruce (Phototherapy and Sensory), 1600 Divisadero & 1855 4th Street (Melanoma). He/she will also facilitate the flow of patient care activities and oversee the Dermatology clinical call center. Cross coverage at other locations may be required. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $130,800 - $274,600 (Annual Rate).
