Parts Crib Attendant - 3rd Shift - Military Veterans

Amentum is seeking a Parts Crib Attendant for our 3rd shift Manufacturing Maintenance team in Waukesha, WI!
- Typical work schedule is 9:30pm - 6:00am; hours may vary based on needs of the business.
The Parts Crib Attendant maintains inventory counts. Effectively communicates with the site management team and all technicians to resolve systems/operations issues and promote efficient, positive working relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains professional and courteous customer relationships with internal team.
- Maintains a strict schedule to be successful in the assignment yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer.
- Maintains knowledge of spare parts used to support our maintenance team.
- Controls access to the spare parts and all crib inventory.
- Ensures spare parts inventory is received, maintained, and distributed according to specified procedures.
- Keeps inventory and all related records organized and orderly for ease of retrieval.
- Keeps daily reporting current with status of spare parts.
- Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and wearing PPE as required.
- Operates a variety of equipment such as laptop computers to perform work and forklift/hand cart to move and organize product.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Prior warehouse, tool crib, or parts crib experience, MRO Cribs or Maintenance experience required.
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
- This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
- This position may require overtime, various shifts, weekends, holidays, and alternative work schedules.
Physical / Special Requirements:
- Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders
- Requires the flexibility to stretch/reach, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, move in a 90-degree fashion repetitive for shift.
- Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
- Requires the ability to stand continuously for 4 hours at a time.
- Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
- Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
- Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
- Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
- Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior exposure to an industrial facility environment.
- Experience with Material Handling Systems, Work Order / CMMS Systems, Hazardous Materials Systems, and/or crib systems.
- Experience operating forklifts, or willingness to be trained at facility.
- Technical certification or specialized training preferred.
