Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule) - Theory and Practice - Computer Science FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT The Computer Science Department at The City College of New York is inviting applications for a Lecturer Doctoral Schedule position. The selected candidate will primarily focus on teaching and will have opportunities to collaborate with faculty members on research activities and other professional initiatives. The Department is seeking candidates with experience in one or more areas of data science, machine learning, cybersecurity, computer architecture, programmable and adaptive architectures, as well as parallel and distributed computing. Students majoring in Computer Science represent the diversity of New York City's population. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field Other Qualifications: Experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching Professional experience within the industry COMPENSATION Salary Range: $88,998 - $98,309 CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
