Job Summary and Qualifications
The Consulting Clinical Data Analyst of Accelerated Technologies and Innovation plays a crucial role in defining and executing the AI and Data-driven product innovation with a strong emphasis on emerging technologies, rapid development, and cloud computing. This individual will partner with product managers, data engineers, ML engineers and Data scientist, software architect and related teams working on various innovative projects across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of technical aspects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster collaboration and innovation within the team. You will work with a mixture of resource types to build teams to perform the activities listed with special focus on establishing a pod like structure of resources through staffing vendors that can be assigned to different efforts.
The ideal candidate must have clinical data domain knowledge, medical terminology, FHIR/HL7 standard and code should able to adept at handling multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic initiatives, and managing resources effectively. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining excellent working relationships with other teams, leaders, subject-matter experts, and business partners within the enterprise.
Major Responsibilities:
- Establish challenging goals, plans and objectives that support the data innovation.
- Manage relationships and serve as primary point of contact for data related
- Clean, analyze, and visualize a variety of Clinical, patient financial and operation event data domain based on requirement
- Develop automated dynamic report to support key business initiatives to improve clinical operation
- Guide business leaders with confidence in your analytics output to ensure smooth execution
- Summarize and present data innovation techniques, analysis, assumptions and results.
- Lead and support day-to-day operations and tracking.
- Develop and maintain documentation to comply with internal standards and requirements, including step-by-step work instructions and procedures for master data maintenance activities.
- Define and execute strategies for data pipelines, ML feature engineering and Data Science analysis, AI/data product development and the adoption of emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, design thinking, and rapid development, leveraging cloud computing and other cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-quality solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., executive team, finance, clinical and business units, engineering, data science, enterprise architects, legal) to identify opportunities for leveraging AI, Data, and Cloud to improve patient outcomes, business/employee metrics, and make the biggest impact for the organization.
- Support the product innovation process from ideation, business case/financial ROI analysis, product roadmap, prototyping, pilot testing, customer validation to handoff to the scaled engineering team for further development and maintenance.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, new Data and AI technologies, emerging healthcare business needs, and best practices in design thinking and rapid development, informing product incubation decisions.
- Ensuring critical deliverables of products are delivered through incremental delivery methods that are focused on Product’s hitting critical KPI and OKR metrics.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required
- Master's degree Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Business analysis experience preferred
- Expertise with clinical data domain and terminology required
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Requires 7 years' related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors:
- Strong understanding of software development, architecture, engineering, business analysis, AI, and data product principles
- Excellent analytics communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and drive teams towards specific outcomes
- Experience in managing AI, and data product innovation
- Proven ability to present to senior management and effectively communicate project status, direction, and resource needs
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, design thinking, rapid development, and cloud computing
