Information Technology Specialist, Intermediate - Military Veterans

Amentum is now hiring for several Information Technology Technician/Analyst (Intermediate) positions in support of the Program Director Sensors - Aerial Intelligence (PD-SAI) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army, Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD-SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD-SAI and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD-SAI.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently provide IT support to an entire organization or major components of an organization. Develops business cases and performs knowledge management and information assurance.
  • Provide analysis and evaluation of information technology matters, and recommendation, initiation and development of IT projects.
  • Support projects that entail the full scope of information systems management for PD SAI.
  • Perform information technology tasks throughout the Command by reviewing, analyzing, and validating electronic business operation tools, implementing IT resources (hardware/software), website design, database development, and other business systems integration initiatives. Interface with higher headquarters, other Command sites, and business centers throughout the command to facilitate procurement information systems technology implementation within the Command.
  • Assess and implement IT policy to govern IT activities; provide IT policy guidance to management, staff, and customers; define current and future business environments; conduct audits of IT programs and policies; develop business cases; and recommend enhancements to efficiency of IT systems through modification and application of emergent technologies. Duties require the application of information technology policies, principles, and practices in the delivering IT technical services throughout the Command.
  • Serve as an Information Management Officer and Telephone Control Officer to represent the organization's interest to service provider. Perform knowledge management and business process design tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4-year technical school or other related field.
  • >4 years of experience
  • 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Compensation:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
